What I'm doing.

October 1st, 2011

Dear family and friends,
The desire of my heart to become a Worship Pastor is becoming a reality!  This January I will move to Sydney,  Australia to study at Hillsong International Leadership College.
My journey first began in high school when I accepted God’s call to full time ministry.   After graduating  from Western Washington University with a Communication degree and currently serving six months as an interim Worship Leader at New Hope Community Church in Tacoma, Washington, I believe the next step is to continue my education as a Worship Pastor at a notable, excellent, and progressive school.
Please join me in this new endeavor by being a prayer partner.  Your support as a partner is the encouragement I need to make this study “down under” successful. Specific prayer needs include good health, transition to another culture and accent, personal growth musically and spiritually, formation of new friendships, and moreover, humility as I am solely dependent on Christ alone.

The heart and soul of Hillsong Church is to introduce and connect people with the living God.”  This mission statement has an international impact in our culture over the course of twenty years, and is something I deeply value.  My parents likewise stressed to my siblings and me the importance of accepting and reaching out to those around; through music I hope to keep looking up and loving people.
This is my third year working for Red Robin, a job that has provided secure income while at school.  I’m very thankful that my tuition has been mailed in.  But I am still several thousand dollars short on providing for my living expenses.  If you feel lead to give to my continued education it would significantly help me!  Please visit my website:  http://jessicahillsong.blogspot.com and find the “Donate” link.  This also opens up to my blog, where as a supporter/prayer partner you can keep in touch with me!
Thank you for your time, consideration, support, and prayers; I value our friendship.  I praise God for you being a significant part of my personal growth.  He is continually faithful and good to us and His mercies are new every morning!
Psalm 37:3-5 3 Trust in the Lord and do good.  Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.  Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.  5 Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. (NLT)
Love,
Jessica Andrukat
